Video production and yearbook is an elective option at the high school level. Students have the opportunity to learn basics of video editing, photography and more throughout this course.  The class is responsible for creation of our annual yearbook as well as a regular newscast featuring Foothills news and events.  Students have also partnered with many local businesses including University of Providence and the Children's Museum to create documentaries and promotional footage.

Annually, students participate in the C-SPAN documentary competition.  One of our student groups was selected as a 3rd prize winner in the 2019 competition.  You can learn more about their award here.

You can also check out the newscasts and other productions on our YouTube page

Our class also hosts an annual Foothills Film Festival to screen student videos with our students and families!

If your business is in need of video production, contact Foothills at 452-5276 to explore partnership opportunities.
